Inspiring Young Minds, One Book at a Time (Ages 0–5)

Our mission extends beyond supporting authors—we are committed to empowering the next generation of readers. The Little Lights Literacy Program is a faith-rooted initiative created to help young children overcome early life challenges and build a strong, positive foundation through the power of books and uplifting words.

Through our collection of children’s books and coloring books, we help children recognize their value, heal from difficult experiences, and cultivate a mindset for confidence, resilience, and personal growth. Each story is designed to speak life, courage, and faith into young hearts, nurturing emotional well-being as they learn and explore.

Free Book Access for Families

As part of our outreach mission, families with children from birth to age five in Texas, California, Georgia, Florida, and select additional regions may apply to receive free print books and faith-based learning resources. These materials support early literacy development, encourage a lifelong love for reading, and provide positive tools that promote hope and inner healing.

Supplies are limited. We encourage families to apply today and give their child the gift of inspiration, learning, and a strong foundation for a brighter future.

This program is designed for young adults ages 18–30 who are currently in, or aging out of, the foster care system, group homes, or who were orphaned. Our mission is to inspire, motivate, and encourage participants to live their best lives despite past challenges, obstacles, or hardships.

Each month, one participant will be selected to receive a special gift as recognition and encouragement. All enrolled participants will receive free literature focused on motivation, reading, writing, creativity, personal growth, spiritual development, and the importance of using God-given gifts to express emotions, share testimonies, and positively impact others. This program equips young adults to embrace their potential, overcome life’s challenges, and step boldly into the life God has planned for them.

 The Annual Kingdom Writers Retreat is designed to help aspiring authors birth, build, and bless through their books. Through immersive sessions, faith-based resources, and guidance focused on inner healing, participants gain the tools, encouragement, and spiritual support needed to bring their God-given stories to life. 

A Better Life Publishing Company is an independent, faith-based author support company dedicated to helping Christian authors bring their God-given stories to life. As a Black woman-owned business, we are especially passionate about empowering African American first-time writers, while celebrating and welcoming all voices within the Body of Christ.

Through writing courses, faith resources, author support, book fairs, and writer retreats, we equip authors with the tools, guidance, and confidence they need to share their stories. Our mission is to inspire inner healing, ignite purpose, and amplify diverse voices in Christian creative arts—one powerful story at a time.
